Hello people,
Still crafting my sound for Metro Exodus, and I thought a Quiet Place was the perfect food for thought to elaborate and find a way to create that kind of scenarios that my trailer presents.
To achieve that, I recorded a consistent amount of sound materials, especially footsteps, clothes and creatures’ movements or any specific spot effects that I wanted to emphasise according to scenes exigencies in this trailer.
For a movie with such unique sounds and audio like “A Quiet Place”, these foley artists had to do things a little differently. I have found this video crucial to sharpen my creativity.
The sound designers on the film focused on a “less is more” approach, aiming for more minimalist and more terrifying sound effects.
Let's have look!
